My Shoes
I heard an old favorite song again the other day that got me thinking about more than the melody. I listened to Joe South’s words again, for what seemed like the first time. I believe that the Dalai Lama’s teachings on compassion are a big part of who I am.
I am working to blunt my reactionary behavior to build a more even keel. The lyrics bring me to a place of peace and calm that reminds me that we are human and naturally, humans have our share of real and imagined problems.
Very wise words my friend. For me life is prospective , Be Happy, grateful and live with an open heart.. The rest seems to follow.. Thanks for your wise words.
