Project Manager | Job Super | Lead Carpenter
Minimum of 5-10 years of residential remodeling experience
Must be able to efficiently run multiple jobs at the same time from start to finish and supervise field staff Knowledgeable of all phases of remodeling and/or addition projects

Journeyman Carpenter

- Finish work including panels, finishes, interior and exterior trim, installation of cabinetry, casework, doors, hardware and other
- Welding, cutting and grinding
- Ceilings system installation
- Drywall operation including framing and rocking of walls, soffits, columns, chase walls and other Safety including scaffold systems, walkways, shoring, sheds, weather protection, and care of tools
- Equipment and installation of fall protection systems
- Own tools
- Have truck or vehicle

Overall Responsibilities
Assist lead carpenter with customer satisfaction, carpentry labor, material handling, and job site cleanup.
General Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform all assigned tasks to the best of your ability. Your conscientious performance is extremely important, as it reflects on the quality of the entire company.
- Carry out carpentry labor, material handling, job site cleanup as assigned by the lead carpenter. Any questions or problems should be brought to the attention of the lead carpenter.
- Accurately complete a time card on a daily basis. The time card is to be turned in to the lead carpenter at the close of business Friday (Saturday if work is scheduled). The time card must be signed. No checks will be issued without a time card.
- Responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of your coworkers. Wear a hard hat and
steel-toed shoes. Behave in a professional manner at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to the lead carpenter. - Absolutely no drugs or alcohol will be tolerated on the job site, regardless of the time of day. Use of drugs or alcohol will result in immediate termination.
- No abusive or foul language will be tolerated. Remember, you represent the entire company. Radios should be played quietly.
Specific responsibilities may include:Specific responsibilities may include:
- Helping install walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs
- Assisting with fitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenters level, plumb bob, and laser levels
- Erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels
- Positioning and holding timbers, lumber, or paneling in place for fastening or cutting
- Selecting tools, equipment, and/or materials from storage and transport items to work site
- Holding plumb bobs, sighting rods, or other equipment to aid in establishing reference points and lines
- Cutting timbers, lumber and/or paneling to specified dimensions, and drilling holes in timbers or lumber
- Smoothing or sanding surfaces to remove ridges, tool marks, glue, or caulking
- Cleaning work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
Have and be responsible for your own tool belt. You must have the following tools:
- 30-foot tape
- Speed square
- Chisels
- Screwdrivers (1 slot and 1 Phillips)
- Hammers (framing and trim)
- Chalkline
- Nail set
- Nail puller
- Pry bar
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (or current enrollment in High School).
